Bisquit Cognac, the esteemed 200-year-old Cognac brand, was relaunched as Bisquit & Dubouché in 2021 after the celebrated brand’s two remarkably progressive and fearless founders, in celebration of its heritage.

Among the very first to bottle cognac under his name, founder Alexandre Bisquit was a pioneer and innovator. He proposed a new distinctive method to create a high-quality cognac: a long and intuitive distillation process that was not widely used at the time. In Adrien Dubouché, his soon-to-be son-in-law, he found the perfect partner: a creative and bohemian world traveller who designed one of the brand’s first logotypes. With this relaunch, Bisquit & Dubouché restores its founders’ ambition and spirit into the essence of the brand, while introducing it to a new generation.

The new bottle represents the rebelliousness of its founders and their inventive and progressive approach. A new, sleek bottle with metallic silver and black accents adorning the label is a departure from the traditional cognac bottles we typically see on shelves today. The brand’s symbolic griffin, a legendary creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion, and the head and wings of an eagle; established as the “guardian” of the first cellars where the precious liquid aged, has been redesigned to reflect boldness and power.

Bisquit & Dubouché distillation method is not based on fixed parameters and requires a mastery achievable only through experience and years of practice. By enhancing the extraction of perfumes and flavours during heart collection, it obtains a full-bodied and rich heart. The result is a premium cognac which can be broadly described as fruity and smooth. The final profile is renowned for its subdued aromas of vanilla and caramel, coupled with expressive notes of honey, fig and dark fruits.
