The brand is known for using a high percentage of eaux-de-vie from the Borderies region in its blends, adding aromatics to the richness. From the entry-level VS to the prestige cuvée L'Or de Jean Martell, the brand is highly regarded the world over.

Together with a passion for its craft and terroir, Maison Martell is defined by the audacity with which it has challenged convention, including the iconic Cordon Bleu in 1912 and more recently with the Eaux-de-Vie aged in ex Bourbon casks, Blue Swift. This free spirit of the house is symbolised by the historic emblem: the swift.
