Domaine de la Flaguerie are family-owned Calvados producers in the heart of the Bessin, Normandy, where generations of expertise and love for the land come together in every bottle. Their story begins in 1835, when the family farm was first established — a legacy they proudly continue today across approximately 50 hectares and 23,000 apple trees, including high-stem varieties up to 80 years old.
From their own organic orchards to your glass, they lovingly oversee every step. Key apple varieties — including Frequin Rouge, Bedant, Petit Jaune, Judor and Grosse de Bayeux — are carefully cultivated and harvested before being aged in French Oak casks of 350 to 500 litres. All orchards have been managed organically since 1998, reflecting the estate's deep respect for nature and its commitment to sustainable and regenerative farming practices. Quality, craftsmanship and transparency remain at the heart of everything they do. Their mission is to elevate Calvados beyond its traditional image, introducing new global audiences to its quality, versatility and authenticity — and its rightful place among the world's finest spirits. Every sip embodies their responsibility and love for the land that defines the soul of Normandy heritage.
Their collection reflects this dedication across every expression. From the fruit-forward intensity of their unaged Blanche, through the rich complexity of their aged Calvados, to the warmth of their traditional Pommeau de Normandie aperitif — each bottle is a testament to the family's unwavering commitment to quality and craft.
